Me_Michel_TohmeHolder of the French degree in Private and Public Law (1976) and the Lebanese degree in Law (1978) from Saint Joseph University in Beirut- Lebanon and has also pursued a postgraduate courses diploma at the same university degree.

Called to the Beirut Bar Association –Lebanon in 1980, Michel Tohme has since gained an extensive experience as a generalist attorney with a strong hold on general civil and commercial litigation, real estate and tenants’ law, family law and inheritance matters and disputes, in addition to wills’ drafting and execution.

On the other hand, Me Tohme excelled in representing clients in various national and international arbitration proceedings as well as disputes’ resolution in connection with collective employment agreements arising between workers’ unions and employers’ syndicates. Not to mention enforcing all kind of court orders and defending clients against related opposition and obtaining seizures and all kind of conservatory measures.

Me Tohme has advised many individual and corporate clients and has been appointed as the legal counsel of the Archdiocese of Sidon for the Roman Catholics.

Me Tohme is an active member of local associations, charitable foundations and cooperatives and has been nominated as the Executive Committee member of the Highest Council of the Roman Catholics in Lebanon (2008-21014)

Me Tohme has also worked with a group of fellow lawyers through DRLO for promoting Human Rights in addition to providing pro-bono legal assistance and litigation to vulnerable groups and refugees in Lebanon.
